Welcome to the Mental no podcast. I’m your host, Dr. Durar Pulley, and I’m so glad to be with you today on this podcast. We have an exciting, exciting, exciting topic to talk about and we’re so glad that you’re with us on this podcast today.
This is the Mental Note where we learn practical strategies to live holistically healthy, balanced and well rounded lives. I’m a minister and I am a mental health professional. So on the Mental Note podcast we marry psychology and theology, we marry spirituality as well as practical tips so that you can live your best life and be your best self, to be the very best version of yourself and seeing the benefit of counseling and therapy and coaching and all these tools that help us to overcome any
obstacles that might stand in our way to living the life that we desire and the life that we deserve.
And so today our topic is self love. And that’s a very powerful topic. Sometimes it can be a airy fairy concept of self love.
So today we’re going to break it down, we’re going to take it apart and bring it back together as we learn more about how to love ourselves. Now from a spiritual perspective, a lot of people are taught how to love God and various practices that they need to do in order to demonstrate their love from, for God and, and from a who holistic perspective, people in character building and development and people are taught how to love other people, how to care for people, how to listen to people, how to
be there for people. And often making sacrifices for people is often how people are taught self love.
To put yourself second and put everything and everybody else first. And as we grow and become more whole, we learn that there’s an order of love to love God, which is to love love to get that true definition of what love is, to move beyond lust, to move beyond like, and to really learn what love is. So we start with loving God, then loving ourselves, and then from that overflow of loving ourselves, we’re able to love others as we love ourselves.
When somebody tells you I love you, it is important that we think about the I is loving you because we can really only truly love others to the extent that we love ourselves. And so that self love concept is more than just getting a manicure and a pedicure and a massage and taking a bath. It’s, it’s really deeper than that.
And we’re going to explore that today about what self love really is and how it looks. Because so many people don’t like themselves. There’s so many people that don’t really love themselves.
They don’t like their lives. They wish that they could be somebody else. They wish that they had a different life than the life that they actually have.
And so we are learning today about self love. You gotta love yourself. That’s our topic for the day.
That whenever you’re feeling ugly, remember that ugly is an acronym for you gotta love yourself. It’s the indicator that it’s time to give yourself some love. Sometimes we’re looking for hugs and encouragement and support from other people.
But it is important that we give those hugs to ourselves, that we give that support and encouragement to ourselves, that we give that same patience and grace and understanding and forgiveness to ourselves. And then from the overflow of us giving it to ourselves, we’re able to give it to other people. And many times people get this self love confused.
And it’s really a continuum. It’s really a paradigm and it is a continuum of selfish self love and selfless. Now, whenever you are loving yourself or putting yourself to the point where you are a detriment to other people, that you are hurting or harming other people for your own interests, that’s not self love, that’s selfish.
And whenever you are putting others and taking care of others to the detriment of yourself, that is selfless, you’re becoming a martyr. But the healthy balance in the middle is self love. And that’s what we’re going to talk about today.
I have an amazing guest with us today, Gina Folk. Hi, Gina, how you doing? I’m amazing. Yes.
Welcome to the Mental Note podcast. Gina is, is a businesswoman, she is an author, she is a public speaker, and she is a change maker. Amen.
She’s a person that comes in and helps people be better and to see bigger versions of themselves. And Gina and I have been friends for a long time and we’ve worked together for a long time. So I’m so glad to have you on the Mental Note podcast.
Welcome again, Gina, to the Mental Note podcast. Thank you. I am very excited to be here.
Yes. And we’re excited to have you. So tell me, Gina, how long have you been coaching people? Well, this is a great question.
I was thinking about it and I’m pretty sure I’ve been coaching people since I was about two years old. But my family would have called that being very bossy. Right.
So I was really telling people exactly what they needed to do and help them understand how to get the best results. However, what I did not realize, that was more of that selfish thing you were talking about there. But I have been in business almost my entire life.
I started working from age 12. Okay. And I absolutely realized that in business, when you’re leading other people or getting to a team together, you’re actually coaching every single day.
Gotcha. So in that context, I’ve been an official business leader for over 30 years. So as soon as I got a team of people that I was leading, I really ventured into that coaching realm.
Because as a leader, I believe one of the. One of the most important responsibilities and like cherish responsibilities you have, is to coach your people, the teams that are working for you, to their own personal success in whatever they’re doing. Because then that brings the success for the rest of the team and ultimately the company.
So I have been coaching people for a very long time. Well, it’s something that they use that word, coaching and it kind of shifts the workplace environment that sometimes when people are not meeting goals or when they’re not showing up and being effective and efficient and excellent in their work, they used to see it as a reprimand, as a write up. As you got written up, you’re going to get a week without pay.
Or there was some type of negative attachment to it. There was some type of negative vibe that came from. It’s like, oh my goodness, I’m going to the principal’s office, I’m going to the manager’s office or the director’s office.
But there was like a shift in the workplace culture where they changed that to more, let me coach you, let me work with you. And so I love the fact that you have been coaching people your whole life unofficially and then officially for over 30 years. Wow.
So we got this topic today called self love, which is kind of uncomfortable for some people to even think about the idea of self love. How do you define self love? So you’re right. Self love is something that is very uncomfortable.
I grew up in the south and most of my life I was told, you know, love everybody else. Don’t love yourself because when you love yourself, that’s being arrogant or too proud or too boastful. It’s important to put others first.
And so self love was something that just wasn’t a topic that I ever was introduced to or understood. I started dabbling around with self care because a lot of times when you start focusing on self love, you think like, self care is the way to kind of venture into it a little bit. So I would do really great at self care with massages and, you know, manicures and pedicures.
And whatever it is I desire to do, to just give compassion to myself. But there’s a difference between that kind of self care and self love. And so what I’ve come to learn is that self love is first being aware that we are divinely created, we are here, we wouldn’t be on this earth in the body that we’re in, with some of the God given talents that we have in the environments we’re in if it weren’t for the divine creator.
So first being aware that we are here and love, we are love, divinely we are love. So that for me was the first thing that I had to become aware of because I really, yeah, I mean I went to church and did some of those kind of things. But to really grasp that I am divine and my presence has purpose and meaning and tapping into that is a different thing and is part of self love.
But I think it’s the first thing is really being aware of that. And then once I kind of dabbled in being aware of that, then I had to really work with accepting and not just accepting, but also appreciating the good, the bad, and as you say, the ugly. Because it’s all there for a reason.
Like that whole self, anything that is part of me, any experience that I have is for me to be appreciative of and to be really accepted and to get it for what the lesson is for me to learn. Because it’s really all about growing. And as I talk about self love to people, I kind of have to hide it.
Because when you hear the word self love in the business environment, it’s like, whoa, please don’t talk about that. So it’s really, I liken it to self confidence. Really, really appreciating who you are, what you are, and then learning to grow.
And then once you get to have that awareness, the appreciation, the acceptance, then it’s about really acting on it. And I realize this is your self love equation and it’s real because self love isn’t a one and done. I don’t get to go, oh, I love myself today and it’s all done.
Like that’s not magically how it happens. It is absolutely a practice each and every day, each and every moment to recognize where am I showing myself love or where perhaps am I not showing myself love and it’s an opportunity to grow. Absolutely.
I love that you refer to that self love equation that we’ve been working on because I think we really have to break concepts down for people because people don’t often Admit that I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say self love. I love the idea of it. It feels good.
But what really is that I love that you broke down that equation. That self love begins with self awareness, being aware of yourself, who you are, that you’ve got limitations, you’ve got issues, you’ve got needs, you’ve got expertise, and I’m aware of that. And to get that awareness, it’s about spending time with yourself.
It’s no way to love your without spending time with yourself. But often we like to be distracted with our phones, with the tv, with all this stimuli to really keep us from getting in touch with the love that we really are, to be able to love ourselves. So spending time with ourselves and being okay with being in our own space and enjoying our own company, that awareness.
And as you said, then what I am aware of, I accept about myself. And I love that you brought that appreciation in to be able to appreciate yourself, accept your light and your darkness. Because if you think about a day, you know, a day has the sun and the moon, the morning and the evening, the light and the darkness, and it makes a day.
And a part of loving yourself as a whole person is accepting your own light in your own darkness and loving that, being aware of it, appreciating it, accepting it. And then I loved it. Again, those actions that it’s just not a talk thing or think thing.
But then we demonstrate our love for ourselves through our actions. What part of that equation has been the most challenging for you? Well, for me, like, this word love is one of those things that I’m like, well, what, what is love? Because love is one of those things that we use in many different ways. I could say that I had experienced, you know, family love because you’re supposed to love your family.
I’d had romantic love. Like, what, what is this love? Like? So I know that when we have been working with each other, I need to know how to practically apply something. Like, I’m in business, I like to make changes, but I need a framework.
I need a standard from which I can operate. And so self love really is that unconditional love. And I don’t even.
I didn’t know what unconditional love was. It was one of those words that everybody’s like, oh, just give yourself unconditional love or give somebody else unconditional love. And I’m like, what is it? Please tell me what that means.
Because I didn’t know what it looked like. And so you guided me to A scripture that has made a profound, profound difference on my life. And it is now my standard for not just loving myself, also loving God the Creator, myself.
And once I love myself, then everybody else. And so I’m just going to break that down a little bit because this is something that I use and keep in my mind all the time. And it is.
And we’re not going to read the whole scripture, but I’ve just pulled out like the tenets of it. So love is patient and kind. And as you say often, sometimes to know what something is, you also have to be able to define what it’s not.
And in this scripture, Paul very neatly defines what love is not. It is not envious, it is not boastful, it is not arrogant, it is not dishonoring, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it is not a keeper of wrongs. And it ends with love, always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres, and never fails.
So for me, this became something very tactical and tangible that I can look at when I’m trying to understand how am I loving myself? Like, how am I doing this in these areas? Am I being patient and am I being kind to myself? My number one lesson is patience. And it’s amazing. That’s the first thing that’s there.
First thing that’s there. Love is patient. I know how much I love you, but how patient I am with you.
I know how much I love myself, but how patient I am with myself, giving myself a break, letting myself off the hook, forgiving myself, giving myself another chance. Uh, I love that. I love that scripture.
And it’s become popular, you know, like people have the 23rd Psalm, they have the Lord’s Prayer. And now at a lot of weddings you hear them read First Corinthians 13. And this is February, the love month.
Yes. Where people are talking about love. And how amazing is it that we’re talking about self love, that many times the love that we’re looking for in other people, we first gotta find it in ourselves.
And then it can be mirrored in our relationships with other people. Yeah. And interestingly, that scripture was read at my wedding with my former husband.
And it was one of those scriptures that I would roll my eyes at because I’m like, this just sounds ridiculous. Because I was looking at love upside down. Like I thought that the way to love myself, that my self love was coming from the love that other people were giving me.
And then I could maybe love myself or maybe then if I could see that other people loved me by however they were responding to me, then I could prove that, you know, God really did love me. And then maybe if all of those things happen, I could love myself. So I was living upside down in that upside down hierarchy.
And so when I really. And that’s why the scripture kind of just never sat well with me in the past because I was, I was like, oh, well, I need to get all that stuff from somebody else so I can give. Never occurred to me.
No, no, this is for me to learn to adapt and to accept and to actually put into action for myself regardless of anything else that was going on in any of the other relationships. Because also as a leader of people and organizations, I realize the success of the organization is about the success and how the leader feels about themselves. And so as I grew in my self love, the people that I work with and that I coach and the companies that I have led have grown because I’ve grown more in love with
myself.
And I love how you made that point in business because that was one of the questions I was gonna ask you. How do you incorporate self love and business? And the thing that I heard you say is that when you. And this is a business model that when the people who are working for the company see that you’re interested in their growth and development, then they are willing to work harder and they’re more effective for the business.
But many times the old model was do this for the company, do this for the company, do this for the company, do this for the company and nothing for you. But when you flip that and you care about their development, self love them, caring for themselves, them being a better person, then they are more comfortable in the work environment and they do a better job. So that’s another flip there, that when we put that order back, that we’re concerned about you and as you take care of you, then you’re
going to do a better job for the company.
Yes. And I learned that by doing it the other way. Like your success, like you do what I tell you and you will be successful.
Until it didn’t work for me anymore because I realized I was leaving. Yeah, sure, maybe I was getting temporary success, but I was leaving people behind and you know, just kind of like trotting on them, not knowing it, like it wasn’t on purpose. I was kind, but it was just, it wasn’t serving the greater good.
And I was like, oh no, this doesn’t work. This doesn’t feel good. Then I realized all people really need is for you to see the light in them, to see Potential.
Exactly. To see that power and presence that they can’t see for themselves. Because we’re not taught to love ourselves.
We’re taught to judge ourselves. We’re not taught to really appreciate ourselves. And so when I started shifting, as I grew in my confidence and love for myself, I started shifting and just seeing that I was there to be the.
The reflection for those people, that they had everything they needed inside of them, too many of who had never experienced any kind of love. So I was just the first person in some of their lives to be able to say, you actually saw something in me. And I could see their presence, I could see their power.
And the more that I helped them see it, the more that they grew. And so many of those individuals have gone on to be managers and leaders of their own. And that’s.
That’s when you really know you’re passing on a legacy and giving those people the best that they can get and to make them successful. And that is one of my greatest joys in the whole wide world is to see other people succeed. Absolutely.

Thank you so much for continuing with us on the Mental Note podcast. Let us pick up our discussion. When you talked about this self love, trying to get it from the outside and bring it in and internalize made me think about really, most of the time, unless it’s some unhealthy environment, most of the time we start off giving children unconditional love babies, they cry and we pat them, we feed them, we burp them, we change them, we hug them, we coddle them, we give them unconditional love.
Whether they’re up all night long or whether throwing up on us, messing on whatever, we give them that unconditional love. But it seems like as the children and they do things that we don’t like or make us uncomfortable or embarrass us or they’re not fitting into the mold that we have for them, then that unconditional love becomes conditional. You know, if you get an A, if you do, you know, if you’ve reached this benchmark, then I’ll love you.
And when you’re doing good, oh, this is my child. And when you’re not you, that’s the father’s child, that’s somebody else, you know, that they disown us. And so in order to really get that healthy sense of self love, it really starts all the way back in childhood where we have to kind of undo that conditional love.
That love is based upon accomplishment and achievement and acquisition, that if I do these things, then I will be loved. And to really internalize that unconditional love that we didn’t get often from our parents because they didn’t know how to love themselves or to give unconditional love. And so now it’s like parenting ourselves and giving ourselves that unconditional love that we’ve been missing and hungry and thirsty for all of our lives.
Yeah. And it’s interesting because I was blessed with parents that really did. Parents and grandparents and family that, you know, thought I was perfect.
And even if you’re in that environment that. That starts to make you think you. I put my own conditions on myself.
Exactly. Because all of a sudden it was like, oh, I’m perfect. Oops.
If I do something that’s not going to live up to what standard I thought they were looking for, I put conditions on. So regardless of which environment you grow up in, whether it’s one that’s not very loving and kind and, you know, accepting and encouraging, or one that is, conditions still show up. Whether they’re incurred by somebody or enforced by somebody else or put on in my place by myself.
I started putting my own conditions that I had to be this way, this way and this way to get that love. I don’t think they did it. And then as you grow, just like I put those conditions on, I can take them off because I accept my responsibility in it.
I love that. So how do you incorporate this self love when you’re coaching people? How do you incorporate that in coaching people? Yeah. And as I mentioned before, in business, I don’t just say, oh, let’s talk about it.
Let’s talk about self love. Because it’s kind of like, oof. So what I usually start with is to really help individuals get in touch with their individuality, like their strengths, their purpose, what drives them, their uniqueness, what makes them stand apart from other people.
And oftentimes I do use a very handy tool to Jumpstart people. And that is the Gallup strength finder. Because oftentimes people can’t see their strengths.
Like, we’re blind to our strengths because we focus so much on our weaknesses. And so that’s often a place where I first start with individuals. If they need something tangible, absolutely.
If not, I just watch for how they operate. Like, I’ll give them something, a big project to do, and I’ll just give them the encouragement and say, hey, I know you have this in you. Try it, come back and I’m here to support you.
But it’s really putting it out there first to help them see and build that confidence. That’s why I use that word confidence. That’s how people would liken it.
Because once you’re confident, then you can start to grow and appreciate and love yourself more. But I help them set that confidence exactly. Because you believe in them.
Because I believe. You see them, you hear them, you recognize their gifts, their talents, their skills, their abilities, and that positive regard that you’re giving them, they’re then able to internalize that and use that, knowing that they can do whatever that project is and that if they have a challenge, that they can come back to you and get support because you’re providing them with that love. I love that.
I absolutely. How do you incorporate this self love in your relationship with family and friends? I can see it in the business where you’re coaching them and seeing their gifts and their skills, skills and their talents and letting them know that you believe in them and building their self confidence. But when you leave work and you get with your family and your friends, what does this self love look like? You know, I think for me it’s a little bit more challenging to work on teaching self love in
family relationships just because there’s been so much history over time.
And so what I’ve learned to do now with family and friends is when there’s a space where I feel like there is some sort of lack of self love or some sort of upset, disappointment, whatever, I just, I just share what I’ve learned. Like, I just share, you know, I’ve, I’ve been there. I’ve been feeling that this is what I’ve learned.
I’ve learned that I’m not appreciating something about myself. I’ve learned that maybe I’m judging this. So can we look at how we’re judging this and just know, like, like, let’s, let’s give yourself a little bit of love? It’s, it’s.
For me, it’s it is still my lesson that I’m still growing and learning to teach self love in the family environment. Um, but for me, it’s the biggest thing I can do is model. Is model self love for myself.
And then once people see that, many times people tell me, like, you’re so peaceful to be around. Yeah, because you give yourself so much grace. And so I really just encourage people to give themselves grace, to be patient with themselves, because that, that is the first thing to do in self love is to just be patient.
And I find most, most people, because I’m still not always patient with myself, if I just start there, then they kind of start to grow a little bit. I remember when I was parenting my daughters in that development stage, let’s say between 14, 16 years old, and they were, you know, growing in weight and not in healthy ways, and they were becoming obese. And one of the things that I learned was that instead of getting on them about what they were eating and when they were eating and how much they
were eating, to model for them exercise, you know, to let them see me going to the gym and have gym memberships for them.
And whenever you all are ready, you can go with me to the gym. And even when I moved to the Tampa Bay area and left the dmv, I left them a treadmill. And my daughter said for years, the treadmill was like an extra closet where she hung her clothes on it and her outfit that she was gonna wear that day, she would set it up on the treadmill.
And then when she got ready to love herself in that way of exercising and changing her eating habits and being more healthy, she was like, there’s a treadmill right here in my face. There’s a treadmill right here in my home that I can use. And she called me up one day and was like, thank you, dad.
Thank you, dad, for this treadmill. That you didn’t push me, you didn’t force me. You just had it here and gave it to me as a gift.
And when I was ready, that I was able to use that. And that’s that love is patient to be patient with people. And then she was able to internalize that with being patient with herself.
And then when she was ready, you know, a part of that loving ourselves is to allow ourselves to grow at our own pace, to heal at our own pace, to be able to forgive at our own pace, to learn at our own pace. And when she was ready, you know, she started that exercising as a part of her own self love and self care. Yeah.
And, you know, the other components of love, where love is not judging, love is not dishonoring. Yes, it is, really, humanly. It’s like my first human instinct to judge when somebody is not particularly in my family and friends, not doing something I think they should do.
So that’s my first clue. Like, as soon as I’m starting to judge them or dishonor their process, it’s like, whoa, whoa, back up, Gina. Like, you’re not practicing your self love.
Because if I was practice, then I’m judging myself some way. Right, right. So what I’ve learned is all I can do is plant the seeds.
You were kind of talking about this. Plant the seeds. Plant the seeds of.
This is what I’ve done. This is what’s worked for me. Plant the seeds of putting a treadmill there or showing them a different behavior or, you know, whatever, but working really hard to give up the judgments and the dishonoring and substitute that for planting something that has potential and possibility.
And all we can do is plant the seeds as individuals. And we’re planting the biggest seed, I believe, by demonstrating that self love for ourselves. Absolutely.
And it’s like that judgment, it gets internalized and we become our worst critics. And it’s time for us to flip that and for us to be our greatest cheerleaders, our greatest support systems within ourselves, knowing that we have everything that we need inside of ourselves and just as close as our breath, that we can just be still and get in touch with all that love that is already inside of us, to get in touch with that peace that is already inside of us, to get in touch with that joy that is
already inside of us. And you said earlier, I am love to know that this is my true identity, that I am love and I am lovable.
And as I love myself, I draw love to me. And love is drawn to me. And I’m drawn to love because that’s the magnet, that’s the space that I’m coming from, that I am love.
And so when I realize that I am love, then I can give that love to myself unconditionally, and then I can give that love to other people. Yeah. So what I heard you say is it’s a little bit more challenging with family and friends than it is.
Yeah. In the business and with coaching people. Yeah.
Just because I’m with those individuals quite often, you know, every day or they’ve got history of me and who I am. Because when you have a history with people, they’ve seen you one way. And when you show up a different way, they’re still seeing you the old way.
And so I just still navigating that and, and really in the family situation, what you were just talking about is depending on how the family dynamic has been. And I’m the oldest child, so it, it’s been my responsibility for many years or I took it on as my responsibility. I’m genuinely, as the oldest child, I’m also a leader in relationships and things like that personally.
And so it’s like I tend to love others first. Like I see myself loving others first because I think that’s part of my responsibility. And then that’s my clue.
Wait, I need to go get that love from God so I can pump back up my love for myself so then I can properly be loved for others. Because really, self love is essential to love other people. It’s like I can’t give you what I don’t have that I don’t have.
And if I don’t love myself, then I’m not going to be able to love you if I don’t. It’s like if you ask me for a million dollars, if I don’t have a million dollars, as much as I want to give it to you, I can’t give it to you because I don’t have it. And as much as we desire to love other people, if we don’t love ourselves, it’s like trying to pour from an empty cup.
We can’t give it to them because we’re not giving it to ourselves. And I’ve tried and tried to give and give and give. And the worst the giving is because I’ve just given so much of myself that it’s not those tenets of love.
I’m giving attention, maybe, but it’s not real love. It usually shows up as conditional love. So fill up my cup up to get my unconditional love.
When I’m full of unconditional love for myself, then it’s much more easy to just be that for everybody else. Absolutely. That’s why I say it’s a practice.
It is a moment to moment, minute to minute, day to day. It is relationship to relationship. Yes.
It is a lifestyle. And it’s a choice though. It’s a choice.
And it is a choice that is a very powerful choice and one that, that does require commitment and practice. Absolutely. That we’re all on a love journey.
We’re all on a wholeness path to be able to love love, which is God, to love ourselves and to love others. And Kenneth Butler said this and I still stick with it. That life is a classroom, God is the teacher, love is the lesson.
And we’re always learning, always learning. That sticks with me. It sticks with me so much.
Gina, you wrote a book that I had the opportunity to read called People Leadership. How do you and I know that you’re an author? How do you incorporate self love in your writings? You mean in what way? Like when you’re writing because this self love is so important to you, how do you get that across in a written form versus you know, on the job where it’s an actual coaching of a person or in day to day. And when it has to be written, how do you write about this self love? Yeah.
So the first, my first book, People Leadership, I was not as far along in my self love journey as I am now. Okay. However, as I look back and read it, there were several chapters in there about loving yourself, meaning how to have confidence in yourself, have faith in yourself.
You can’t give to others what you don’t give to yourself. So there were some, some kind of inner interweavings in that book. And I, I realized that that was spirit, that was just God flowing through me because at that time I would have never identified that as self love.
I am an author. So my new book is going to be all about love, just this, it’s called A Call to Love and it’s about the whole process of, of what I’ve learned about how to love God, which is love, love myself. And then what did that look like in my relationships with others? And in that it will be very intentional to talk about what self love is.
What my self love journey was to really give people stories, tangible things, stories, practices that I did to grow in love. Absolutely. We look forward to that new book coming out.
Do you have a website or something where our audience be in touch with you? Yeah, you know, because I’m in business, I used to have a website because I. But because I lead other companies, I don’t really have my own personal website. Okay. And if anybody desires to find me and I’m.
And at the moment I don’t do social media. I gave myself a social media break for many, many reasons. And if anybody desires to get in touch with me, they can always email me at GL for folk, the number one mail.com because I like the person to person.
Awesome. Yeah, awesome. Give us that email address again.
It’s GL Folk, the number one mail dot com. And please do not hesitate to email me. I hear so many mentors saying I give people my information and nobody ever emails me if I’m giving you my information.
It is okay to email if there’s something that has been said that you would like to have an opinion on or have me share with you or or whatever. I’m here to serve. That is what I do well.
Thank you so much for being a part of the Mental Note podcast. You’ve given us so much to think about, so many mental notes to make, and practical strategies that you used in your own life to help us incorporate it in our lives so that we can live holistically healthy balance and well rounded lives. We say Happy Valentine’s Day to all those that are celebrating Valentine’s Day and whether you have another person to be your Valentine or not.
How about being your own Valentine and loving yourself this Valentine’s Day and giving yourself that unconditional love that you desire and that you deserve. Again, this has been Dr. Darrell Pulley with the Mental Note Podcast. We’ve always got exciting guests talking about amazing topics so that you can be a better version of yourself.
Amen. Sam.
